Mary's baptism took place on January 24th, 1771 in North Bradley.1  Mary's father was Joseph Butcher and her mother was Elizabeth Butcher.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Butcher and Jane Silverthorne; her maternal grandparents were Robert Butcher Jun. and Elizabeth Minty. She had a brother and a sister, named Joseph and Elizabeth.  She died in 1788.  She was buried on September 25th, 1799 in North Bradley.2
