John's baptism took place on May 8th, 1768 in North Bradley.1  John's father was Edward Aven and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Edward Avon and Betty. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, Thomas, Edward and Mary.  He died in 1788.  He was buried on November 6th, 1788 in North Bradley.2
