William Henry Steer

William was born in 1847 and his baptism took place on January 3rd, 1847 in Petworth, Sussex.¹   William's father was Thomas Steer and his mother is <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were William Steer and Anne Merriott; his maternal grandfather is <Unknown> and his maternal grandmother was Rhoda Berry. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Charles, Alfred, Mary and Jane.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  William is no longer alive.
