Eduard, known as Eddie, was born on April 4th, 1977. Eddie's father was Lourens (Loutjie) Johannes Winterbach and his mother is Isebella Laurika Strydom. He had a brother and two sisters, named Dewald, Amelda and Charlaine. He was the youngest of the four children. He died due to a medical problem, Meningitis, at the age of 30 on August 1st, 2007.
