Henri was born on April 12th, 1938 in Paal.  Henri's father was Cyriel Rediers and his mother was Amelia Gaethofs.  His paternal grandparents were Petrus Alfons Rediers and Maria Antonia Coenen.  He has a brother and four sisters, named Alfons, Antionette, Liliane, Jeaninne and Myriam.  He is the third oldest of the six children.
