Myriam was born on July 25th, 1947 in Paal.  Myriam's father was Cyriel Rediers and her mother was Amelia Gaethofs.  Her paternal grandparents were Petrus Alfons Rediers and Maria Antonia Coenen.  She has two brothers and three sisters, named Alfons, Henri, Antionette, Liliane and Jeaninne.  She is the youngest of the six children.
