Hendrik Norbertus Gaethofs

Hendrik was born on October 27th, 1838 in Pael.¹ Hendrik 's father was Pieter Frans Gaethofs and his mother was Catharina Elisabeth Willems. His paternal grandparents were Joannes Matthias Gaethofs and Maria Elisabeth Moons. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Gerardus, Jan Adolphe, Marcus, Eugenius, Pieter Leonard, Joseph, Maria, Maria Virginia and Julia. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 2 on September 8th, 1841 in Pael.¹
