Fransciscus Steegmans 
Fransciscus was born on February 12th, 1876 in Lummen.1 Fransciscus' father was Ludovicus Steegmans and his mother was Antonette Gaethofs. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Jean Steegmans and Anne Elisabeth Claes; his maternal grandparents were Petrus Henricus (Hendrik) Gaethofs and Catherina Smets. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joannes, Henricus, Josephus, Augustinus, Lucia and Maria Theresia. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 85 on May 5th, 1961 in Lummen.-
