Catherina Smets 
Catherina was born in 1787 in Lummen.1 Catherina's father was André Smets and her mother was Marie Hélène Aerts. She was an only child. She died at the age of 49 on August 22nd, 1836 in Lummen.1 
Catherina and Petrus Henricus (Hendrik) were married in a civil ceremony on January 28th, 1821 in Paal.2 They had four sons and a daughter, named Jean, Ludovicus, Augustinus, Josephus and Antonette.

Jean Smets
Jean was born on February 7th, 1816 in Lummen. He died at the age of 62 on February 28th, 1878 in Lummen.
Ludovicus Gaeters
Ludovicus was born on September 12th, 1821 in Lummen.1 He died at the age of 68 on February 20th, 1890 in Lummen.1
Augustinus Gerardus Augustus Gaethofs
Augustinus was born on January 12th, 1825 in Lummen.1 He died at the age of 78 on April 21st, 1903 in Stokrooie.3
Antonette Gaethofs
Antonette was born on December 25th, 1829 in Lummen.1 She died at the age of 77 on December 7th, 1907 in Lummen. The funeral took place on December 17th, 1907 in Lummen.4
