Sylvia Annie POINTON

Sylvia was born on June 26th, 1898 in Jamestown, SA.¹   Sylvia's father was Thomas POINTON and her mother was Mary Ann DOWTY.  Her paternal grandparents were James POINTON and Peggy POLKINGHORNE. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Edgar, John, Myra, Flossie, Rosetta and Ella.  She was the youngest of the eight known children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, Arthur, Edith and Ethel.
