Emmie Donathorne MATTHEWS

Emmie was born on June 29th, 1890 in Queenstown, SA.¹   Emmie's father was George MATTHEWS and her mother was Eliza WATSON.  Her paternal grandparents were George MATTHEWS and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Joseph WATSON and Miriam COTTON. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, Charles, William, Eliza, Florence, Margaret and Fanny.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.
