Eliza Jane MATTHEWS

Eliza was born on October 20th, 1876 in Portland Estate, SA.¹   Eliza's father was George MATTHEWS and her mother was Eliza WATSON.  Her paternal grandparents were George MATTHEWS and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Joseph WATSON and Miriam COTTON. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, Charles, William, Florence, Margaret, Emmie and Fanny.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 86 on July 16th, 1963 in Woodville, Adelaide, SA.²
