Clara MATTHEWS

Clara was born on October 14th, 1870 in Tenterden Woodville, SA.¹   Clara's father was Henry Thomas James MATTHEWS and her mother was Caroline FLEET.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry MATTHEWS and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Thomas FLEET and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, James, Arthur, Arthur, Herbert, Margaret, Typhena, Diolinda, Elizabeth, Amelia and Letitie.  She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 82 on January 22nd, 1953 in Woodville West, Adelaide, SA.²
