Male Henry Rodgers

Henry was born in September 1858 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.1   Henry's father was John Rodgers and his mother was Ann Fretwell.  His paternal grandfather was Godfrey Rodgers and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Sharman; his maternal grandfather is John Fretwell. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, William Henry, Samuel, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Maria and Eliza.  He is the sixth oldest of the nine children.

Henry and Charlotte Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1885.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Thomas Arthur, Harold and Annie E.
