James Barkley

James was born in March 1875 in St Martins, Oswestry, Shropshire, England.¹ James' father is William Barkley and his mother is Mary Jones. His maternal grandparents were Isaac Jones and Elizabeth Powell. He has two brothers and four sisters, named William, Charles, Mary Jane, Elizabeth E, Sarah and Margaret Ann. He is the fourth oldest of the seven children.
