Aldred (Siward) was born in 0994 in Bernicia, Northumbria, England. Aldred (Siward)'s father was Uchtred Ealdorman of Northumbria 5th Lord of Bamburgh Earl of Bernicia and his mother was Eggfrida (Aecgfrida or Ecgfrida of Chester) Countes Northumbria.  His maternal grandparents were Ealdhun (Aeldhun or Aldhun) Bishop of Durham and Ælgifu Elfreda (Elfgiva) (Alffaed) Gunnarsson. He had a half-sister named Edith/Aeldgyth.  He died due to murder / assassination, Murdered by Carl, son of Thurebrand, at the age of 45 in 1039 in Bernicia, Northumbria, England.
