Mary Cookson

Mary was born in January 1680 in Hadley, Shropshire and her baptism took place on February 3rd, 1680 in Christ Church, Wellington, Shropshire.  Mary's father was William Cookson and her mother was Elizabeth Whitfield.  Her paternal grandparents were John Cookson and Jane Pekah; her maternal grandparents were John Whitfield and Margaret Unknown. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, John, John, Henry, William, Margaret, Elizabeth, Jane, Sarah and Ann.  She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
