Joseph Cookson

Joseph was born in June 1713 in Crewkerne, Somerset and his baptism took place there on June 10th, 1713.  Joseph's father was John Cookson and his mother was Dorothy Long.  His paternal grandparents were William Cookson and Elizabeth Whitfield. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Unknown, William, John, Thomas, Edward, Edith, Elizabeth, Anne and Dorothy.  He was the second youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 78 on October 30th, 1791 in Shoreditch, London.  He was buried on November 5th, 1791 in Shoreditch, London.
