Frederick Venables 
Frederick was born in 1899 in Catchgate, Co Durham. Frederick's father was Enoch Venables and his mother was Mary Jane Raine. His maternal grandparents were John Raine and Mary Ann Quilter. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, Benjamin, Thomas, Alfred, Mary and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the eight children.-
