Joseph, known as The Ace, was born on June 27th, 1914.1   The Ace's father was Vaclav Castoral and his mother was Marie Belej (Castoral).  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Castoral and Marie Jirinec (Castoral); his maternal grandparents were John Belej and Mary Masova (Belej). He had three brothers and four sisters, named Willie, Jerry, Frank, Mary, Louise, Anna and Tootsie.  He was the fifth oldest of the eight known children.  He died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 76 on June 12th, 1991.  He was buried in Greenwood Cemetery.2 2
