William le Blount

William was born in 1123.¹ William's father was 3rd Baron of Ixworth William le Blount and his mother was Sarah de Munchesni. His paternal grandparents were Baron Ixworth Gilbert le Blount and Alicia Colekirk; his maternal grandparents were Hubert de Munchesney and Emma de Hedenton. He had a brother and a sister, named Herbert and Galiena. He was the second oldest of the three children.
