Countess Berthe de Maurienne 
Berthe was born on September 21st, 1051 in Maurienne, Savoie, France.1 Berthe's father was Count of Savoy Otto de Maurienne I and her mother was Margravine Adelheid de Montferrat of Susa. Her paternal grandparents were Count of Savoie Humbert (Whitehands) de Maurienne I and Auxilia of Noyen; her maternal grandparents were Meginfred Marchese de Susa and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named Amadeus, Pietre and Adelaide. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Hermann, Gebhard and Richwara. She died at the age of 36 on December 27th, 1087.2 -
