Adelheid was born about 1020 in Susa, Torino, Italy.1   Adelheid's father was Meginfred Marchese de Susa and her mother was <Unknown>.  Her paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Prangorda di Reggio. She had a sister named Irmgarde.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died on December 19th, 1091 in Camischio, Ivrea, Savoy.2
