Thomas de Hoo 
Thomas was born in 1315 in Luton Hoo, Luton, Bedfordshire, England.1 Thomas' father was Robert de Hoo and his mother was Hawise Fitzwarine. His paternal grandparents were Robert de Hoo and Beatrice de Andeville; his maternal grandparents were Fulk Fitzwarine V and Margaret verch Griffith. He was an only child. He died at the age of 65 on September 18th, 1380 in Offley, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England. He was buried in St. Alban's Abbey.2 1 General Notes

The Hoo Peninsula is a peninsula in England separating the estuaries of the rivers Thames and Medway. It is dominated by a line of sand and clay hills surrounded by an extensive area of marshland composed of alluvial silt. The name Hoo is the Old English word for high.
