Nicholas de Cantilupe

Nicholas was born about 1190 in Reading, Berkshire, England.¹ Nicholas' father was William Cantelou I and his mother was Mecelin Braci. His paternal grandparents were Walter Cantelou and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Adulph Braci and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Walter, John, Thomas, Maud and Isabelle. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-sister named Isabel. He died on September 24th, 1266.¹
