He married 2) Iva Laverne Smith Brown the 22nd of September, 1928 in Bowling Green, Wood County, Ohio, USA. She was born the 6th of March, 1896 in Buchanan, Berrien County, Michigan, USA. Onan and Iva had no children. Iva died the 9th of July, 1988 in Niles, Berrien County, Michigan, USA. Onan died the 23rd of May, 1966 in Niles, Berrien County, Michigan, USA.
