Minnie Geneva was born in March 1893 in , , California, USA.1 Minnie Geneva's father was William Nathan Shipley and her mother was Nancy Alice Ragle. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin Shipley and Mary Sharp Lester. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Nathan William, Clifford Thomas, Charles Edgar, Maude Elizabeth, Clara M., Florence Virginia, Hazel Alice and Lenore Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 76 on April 12th, 1969 in , Orange County, California, USA.1 General Notes

My group sheet showing Minnie Geneva "Neva" Shipley has her marrying James Audrey Day on 26 Jul 1909 in Orosi, Tulare Co., CA. I know the Tulare County web page has early searchable marriages online and assume that's where I got the info but there's also a chance it was shared by one of the Shipleys online. My notes don't make it clear where that particular bit of info came from.
I do show Neva's Social Security number as 568-36-86188 which seems like one digit too many, so my info on her appears to be a bit shaky. I list her California death record under two numbers: 2196 and 50837. I know she was in Orosi Twp. in the 1910 census.
