Richilde was born about 0826 in Arles, Bouches-du-Rhone, Provence, France.1  Richilde's father was Count of Arles Boso (The Old) d'Arles III and her mother was Richilde of Amiens.  Her paternal grandparents were Count of Turin & Provence Boso of Italy II and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Robert of Amiens and <Unknown>. She had a brother and a sister, named Hubert and Bertrane.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died in 0883.2

They had three sons and a daughter, named Boso, Folmar, The Justiciar and Richaut.
