Mary was born in 1700 in Calvert Co., Maryland.1   Mary's father was John Griffith and her mother was <Unknown>.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Griffith and Mary Katherine Wood.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 65 in 1765 in Calvert Co., Maryland.

Mary and William were married in a religious ceremony in 1726 in Calvert Co., Maryland.  They had a son named Thomas.
