Robert Forbes 
Robert was born about 1576 in Corse, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Robert's father was William Forbes and his mother was Elizabeth Strachan. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Forbes and Marjory Lumsden. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Arthur, Alexander, James, Margaret, Agnes, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.-
