Jean De Coucy 
Jean was born in 1213 in Vervins, Aisne, Picardy, France.1 Jean's father was Thomas II de Coucy and his mother was Mathilde De Réthel. His maternal grandparents were Hughes II De Réthel and Felicite De Broyes. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas III, Yolande, Elisende, Félicité and Agnés. He was the second oldest of the six children.-
