Nathan was born about 1854 in , , Arkansas, USA.1 Nathan's father was Miles Annual Crabtree and his mother was Ibbey Jane Shipley. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin SHIPLEY and Sarah "Sally" BURKETT. He had a brother and four sisters, named William Riley, Elmyra Jane, Sarah A., Mary T. and Mattie T.. He was the oldest of the six children. He died after June 2nd, 1870 in , , Arkansas, USA.2 -
