George Leslie Smith

George Leslie was born on January 7th, 1905 in TN. George Leslie's father was Bedford Forest Smith and his mother was Nancy George Ann Goforth. His maternal grandparents were John Franklin Goforth and Sarah Ann Collins. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Rosco Franklin, William Henry, Oran Peter, Mossie Jack, Rainer Goforth, Monroe Jennings, Bedford Forest and Minnie Katherine. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 73 on August 13th, 1978 in Bonham, Fannin Co, TX.
