Ethel Amanda Simmons

Ethel Amanda was born on April 28th, 1889 in Van Buren Co, TN. Ethel Amanda's father was Abijah P. 'Bige' Simmons and her mother was Lodema Jane Grissom. Her paternal grandparents were William M. Simmons and Mary Catherine Stipe. She had a brother and three sisters, named James Williams, Effie May, Ova Elizabeth and Mary Ann. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 82 on May 15th, 1971 in Van Buren Co, TN. She was buried in Spencer Cemetery, Van Buren Co, TN.
