Charles Vernon Sigmon

Charles Vernon was born on June 20th, 1912 in Connellys Springs, Burke Co, NC. Charles Vernon's father was Thomas Locke Sigmon and his mother was Geneva Frances 'Eva' Tilley. His maternal grandparents were Emmett Harrison Tilley and Sarah Jane Guest. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Emmett Bruce, Thomas Wayne, Ray Andrew, David Holmon, Mabel Geneva, Irma Margaret and Frances Alma. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 2 on June 30th, 1914 in Morganton, Burke Co, NC. He was buried on July 1st, 1914 in Catawba Co, NC.
