Lara Safley

Lara was born in March 1897 in Warren Co, TN. Lara's father was Dr. Anderson Safley and her mother was Melinda 'Lindy' Louisa Simmons. Her maternal grandparents were William M. Simmons and Mary Catherine Stipe. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Jesse Dalton, Jason Ray, Ella May, Sallie Beulah, Maggie L. and Myra. She was the second youngest of the seven children.
