Green Rase King

Green Rase was born on January 1st, 1874 in Westport, Carroll Co, TN. Green Rase's father was William Presley King and his mother was Martha June Parish. His maternal grandparents were Claiborne 'Clayborn' Parish and Judith J. Butler. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Claiborn Wesly, Chesley Thomas, John P., Eliza T., Lavada Ada, Judy R., Martha 'Mattie' Lena and Mary Aslee. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 74 on August 8th, 1948 in Dyersburg, Dyer Co, TN. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Dyersburg, Dyer Co, TN.
