Dr. John J. Howell

John J. was born on August 1st, 1865 in SC.¹ John J.'s father was William H. Howell and his mother was Harriet Hannah Houser. His maternal grandparents were Henry Houser and Faithy Jones. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William H., Lawson Joel, Benjamin Franklin, Rejoiner William, Mary Caroline, Sarah Emma 'Sally' and Harriet Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 28 on November 7th, 1893 in Delta Co, TX. He was buried in Pierce Cemetery, Lake Creek, Delta Co, TX.¹
