Peter W. Hoke

Peter W. was born in April 1871 in Shelby, Cleveland Co, NC. Peter W.'s father was Peter Philo Hoke and his mother was Faithy Ann Goforth. His maternal grandparents were William Clayton Goforth and Jane Christina Houser. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas William, Robert C., Benjamin Logan, Sarah Jane, Clara J., Cora Harriett and Caroline B. 'Callie'. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
