Cora Harriett Hoke

Cora Harriett was born on August 22nd, 1860 in Shelby, Cleveland Co, NC. Cora Harriett's father was Peter Philo Hoke and her mother was Faithy Ann Goforth. Her maternal grandparents were William Clayton Goforth and Jane Christina Houser. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas William, Robert C., Peter W., Benjamin Logan, Sarah Jane, Clara J. and Caroline B. 'Callie'. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 26 on January 2nd, 1887 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC. She was buried in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC.
