Lonnie Ray Goforth

Lonnie Ray was born on July 23rd, 1910 in Alcorn Co, MS. Lonnie Ray's father was John Powers Goforth and his mother was Sarah Florence Ledford. His paternal grandparents were John Franklin Goforth and Sarah Ann Collins. He had three brothers and a sister, named Cletus John, Franklin 'Frank' Marion, Roy Leander and Emma Bell. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 50 on April 5th, 1961 in Ripley, Tippah Co, MS. He was buried in Ripley Cemetery, Ripley, Tippah Co, MS.
