James R. Goforth

James R. was born in 1877 in Mitchell Co, NC. James R.'s father was Henry Wright Goforth and his mother was Frances 'Fannie' C. Brinkley. His paternal grandparents were George Goforth and Nancy Jane Houser. He had three brothers and a sister, named William Dexter, George Edward, Jesse and Ida Mary. He was the third oldest of the five children.
