Joseph Cockriel

Joseph was born in 1835 in Grayson Co, KY. Joseph's father was Andrew Jackson Cockriel and his mother was Mary Sirles. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Sirles and Martha Roberts. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Stephen, George Washington, Thomas C., John W., Margaret, Lucinda, Martha, Rebecca and Mary J.. He was the oldest of the ten children.
