James Coy Clayton

James Coy was born in 1914 in Person Co, NC. James Coy's father was George Washington Clayton and his mother was Freddie Harriet Rhew. His maternal grandparents were John Ruffin Rhew Jr. and Sophronia Manolia Davis. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Mellie Harvey, Perry Nichols, Tellie Sue, Electra Sophronia, Zellie M. and Delma Rhew. He was the third youngest of the seven children.
