Roy Blassingame

Roy was born on June 7th, 1907 in Seymour, Baylor Co, TX. Roy's father was William Earl Blassingame and his mother was Laura Rebecca Goforth. His maternal grandparents were John Franklin Goforth and Sarah Ann Collins. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Oliver, Emmett, Reuben Earl, Velma Estell, Jetty Lou, Etta Sha, Lillie Mae, Bertha Moss and Lucille. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 71 on July 8th, 1978 in Bonham, Fannin Co, TX.
