John Ernest Autry

John Ernest was born on April 24th, 1907 in Tioga, Grayson Co, TX. John Ernest's father was Elijah Calvin Autry and his mother was Margaret 'Maggie' Florence Williams. His paternal grandparents were Elijah William Autry and Mary Elizabeth McCauley. He had a brother and three sisters, named William Gordon, Mabel Marguerite, Annie Avice and Louise Vellula. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 85 on January 22nd, 1993 in Gunter, Grayson Co, TX. He was buried in Indian Creek Cemetery, Cooke Co, TX.
