Herman van Cuijck

Herman was born about 1103 in Cuijk, Noord Brabant, Netherlands.¹ Herman's father was Hendrik van Cuijck and his mother was Countess Alveradis of Hochstaden. His paternal grandparents were Herman van Malsen and Ida de Boulogne; his maternal grandparents were Count Gerhard of Hochstaden and Aleydis von Wickrath. He had a brother and a sister, named Godfried and Aleidis. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died about 1168.¹
