Countess Ida of Mhorsberg

Ida was born about 1121 in Burgsponheim, Rheinland, Prussia.¹ Ida's father was Meinhard of Sponheim and her mother was Countess Mathilde of Mhorsberg. Her paternal grandparents were Count Stefan of Sponheim and Sofie von Hamm; her maternal grandparents were Count Adalbert of Morsberg and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and a sister, named Gottfried, Krafto, Albert and Hiltrud. She was the fourth oldest of the five children.
