Ralph le Strange

Ralph was born about 1148.¹ Ralph's father was Duke of Bretaigne Roald le Strange (Extraneus) and his mother was Maud de Hunstanton. His paternal grandparents were Guy le Strange and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Ralph FitzHerlouin de Hunstanton and Helewise de Plaiz. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Guy, Hamo and Margaret. He was the fourth oldest of the five children.
