Hamo le Strange

Hamo was born about 1144 in Kockyn, Shropshire, England.¹ Hamo's father was Duke of Bretaigne Roald le Strange (Extraneus) and his mother was Maud de Hunstanton. His paternal grandparents were Guy le Strange and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Ralph FitzHerlouin de Hunstanton and Helewise de Plaiz. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Guy, Ralph and Margaret. He was the third oldest of the five children.
